Is Salvation is a Two Way Street?


Salvation is a Two Way Street
God provides the free gift of salvation

AND

We must repent and believe.


Scripture is clear


Matthew 3:2 

2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Acts 16:30-31 

30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Note: "Believe" means to trust in Christ as Savior.

He was one of "the greatest legal minds in British history. Gaining genuine knowledge during the pandemic

Do you want genuine knowledge  during the pandemic? Proverbs 1:7 teaches us where to start We can only begin to learn and acquire genuine knowledge when we  "fear"  the Lord.  The Amplified Bible explains "fear" as having a "reverent" fear of God and worshiping Him. It also implies that we  must trust God and obey Him . So our knowledge begins with us worshiping God This is also only reasonable. It is also common sense that creatures should trust their Creator. The opposite is sadly true. Only a fool would reject his or her Creator and live life without relying on guidance from God.
