The Importance of mothers in our spiritual lives

The duties children owe to their parents   Scripture  Proverbs 1:1-9  states  1  The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel; 2  To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3  To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4   To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5  A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6  To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 7  The fear of the  Lord  is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 8  My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: The duties of children Children are told to hear the instruction of their father. Gaining genuine knowledge during the pandemic

Do you want genuine knowledge  during the pandemic? Proverbs 1:7 teaches us where to start We can only begin to learn and acquire genuine knowledge when we  "fear"  the Lord.  The Amplified Bible explains "fear" as having a "reverent" fear of God and worshiping Him. It also implies that we  must trust God and obey Him . So our knowledge begins with us worshiping God This is also only reasonable. It is also common sense that creatures should trust their Creator. The opposite is sadly true. Only a fool would reject his or her Creator and live life without relying on guidance from God. The only wise thing to do is to: Repent of sin; Trust Jesus as Lord and Savior; and  Live for Christ "wholeheartedly and devotedly" Therefore let us not be foolish. The hallmarks of fools are: They will have nothing to do with God They are unwilling to learn as they know everything already. They are not...

Where to find courage during the pandemic

Courage comes from being aware of God's presence with us The coronavirus pandemic has brought with it fear and uncertainty. The main fear is fear of the unknown. Fear robs us of courage just when we all need courage. The Bible tells us not to fear and where to find courage. Courage comes from knowing God is with us wherever we go and that He will not fail us nor forsake us. We have assurance from God's word that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Scripture Deuteronomy 31:6 6  Be strong and of a good courage, fear not , nor be afraid of them: for the  Lord   thy God, he it is that doth go wit h thee ; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Joshua 1:9   King James Version (KJV) 9  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage ; be not afraid , neither be thou dismayed : for the   Lord  thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Philippians 4:13 ...

How do you defend your faith?

During the pandemic be ready to defend your  Christian hope Scripture 1 Peter 3:15   King James Version (KJV) 15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Therefore We must be ready . The NIV translates this as " gentleness ". * Also in answering we must answer with " fear ", The NIV translates this as showing " respect " Praise the Lord

Saved by the Blood of Christ

Before, during and after the Corvid19 Pandemic. Salvation is available to us by the death of Christ The message of Scripture is clear. Through the death of  Christ our sins are forgiven.
